On Jan 3rd, after waiting for 20 months, we got the much anticipated call with the first information about our daughter. A few days later the FedEx package arrived with her picture and vital statistics.
Following is a summary of what they supplied:
Chinese Name: Xiu Fu Bi (pronounced shu foo bay)
Translation: Xiu - the first character of the name of the city where she was found (Xui Shan) means beautiful, elegant, excellent Fu - means good fortune, blessing, happiness Bi - means fragrance of a flower Birth Date: April 2, 2006 Vitals: As of August 22, 2006 (she was about 5 months old) Height: 24.4 inches Weight: 14.3 lbs Health: excellent Disposition: Look at that picture!!! (she is 5 mos old)
She is currently at the Xiushan Social Welfare Institute (which is a 12 hr drive from Chongquig) waiting for us to arrive!

March 5th Medical Exam
At the medical exam for the US Consulate, her stats were:
Brett, hi. Any chance you have XiXi's current contact info? I tried this same old yahoo email from when she worked on our behalf during 2012, yet today it bounced back. I can't find other details for her at this moment, but this blog entry is the main thing that turned up when I searched that email address. Jay
